Equity Hub's helpdesk provides intersectional advice to DFAT staff and programs to strengthen outcomes, policy and advocacy on gender equality, disability equity and social inclusion. The helpdesk supports both rapid and longer-term tasking, and draws on a specialised panel of technical advisers with deep experience across the Indo-Pacific and globally.
Helpdesk resources will be prioritised for tasks that demonstrate strong strategic alignment with the priorities outlined in Australia's International Development Policy, International Gender Equality Strategy and International Disability Equity and Rights Strategy.
The helpdesk is also able to support non-development programming across a range of areas, such as First Nations engagement, trade, security and blended finance.
