AHP III Bangladesh: a disability inclusion journey in the Rohingya crisis

This lessons-learned report documents the achievements and challenges of the Australian Humanitarian Partnership (AHP) Phase III disability inclusion response in the Rohingya humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh. It highlights significant progress on disability inclusion achieved in a complex operating environment, including the development of self-help groups, increased access to services, and expanded use of the Washington Group Questions to better identify and respond to the needs of people with disabilities.

The report reflects on how consortium organisations and their partners collaborated to achieve common goals, offering practical lessons for advancing disability inclusion in protracted humanitarian responses.
