Produced by the DFAT-funded Water for Women Fund and led by the University of Technology Sydney's Institute for Sustainable Futures, this learning brief brings together the knowledge and experience of WASH civil society organisations engaging with private sector actors across South and South East Asia.

It covers the various roles the private sector plays in WASH service delivery systems, key considerations for civil society organisations when partnering with private actors, the benefits, challenges and strategies of applying a gender equality, disability and social inclusion lens, ways to sustain private sector engagement, and recommendations for future programming and investment.
