Developed with CBM Australia for the DFAT-funded Water for Women Fund, this guidance note sets out key principles, considerations and actions that WASH implementers can apply to strengthen disability inclusion in their COVID-19 responses and adaptations.

It outlines the challenges people with disabilities face in accessing hygiene and WASH services during the pandemic, core disability inclusion actions for all COVID-19 and WASH programming, and additional actions for specific interventions including rapid WASH response, hygiene behaviour change communications, WASH in communities, WASH in schools and healthcare facilities, and public WASH service providers.
