This resource documents a pilot of the International Women's Development Agency's Do No Harm toolkit, adapted for water, sanitation and hygiene programming and trialled in Fiji by Habitat for Humanity Australia and Fiji, with technical advice from the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre.

It sets out the toolkit's five principles for reducing the risk of backlash and violence when programs work to empower women: supporting women victims and survivors of violence, transforming gender inequality, increasing women's participation in programs, changing men's attitudes and behaviours, and partnering with experienced violence against women service providers.
