Gender and politics in practice

Supported by DFAT's Gender Equality Fund and DFAT's partnership with The Asia Foundation, Gender and Politics in Practice (GAPP) is a Developmental Leadership Program (DLP) research project examining how a gendered understanding of power and politics can make development programs more effective. It presents 14 short case studies of development programs seeking to be both politically informed and gender aware, including CARE Australia, MAMPU in Indonesia and the Pacific Leadership Program in Tonga.
