Health equity and rights

This rapid evidence review draws on academic and grey literature to understand where pro-equity approaches for health have been successful, and which factors enabled that success. It covers both health provision and the wider determinants of health, and asks how progress was monitored.

The review is organised around a pro-equity approach, community engagement and participation, multisectoral and interdisciplinary action, and equity-oriented monitoring and evaluation. It was produced through the Knowledge for Development and Diplomacy helpdesk, and complements the companion health equity fact sheet.
