Infographic: how poverty and climate change interact

This infographic illustrates how climate change deepens existing poverty and threatens to reverse the progress made in poverty reduction. It highlights the multiplier effect of climate change when it combines with other drivers of poverty, and how that plays out for people living in extreme poverty.

It brings together the evidence generated so far across agriculture and food, urban poverty, health and inequality, and identifies the key gaps in research that still need attention. It was produced by Data and Evidence to End Extreme Poverty.
