Endorsed by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee in 2015, these guidelines are the key inter-agency resource for integrating gender-based violence (GBV) risk mitigation across humanitarian action. Revised from the original 2005 version by an inter-agency task team led by UNICEF and UNFPA, they help humanitarian actors coordinate, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate essential actions to prevent and mitigate GBV across all sectors of response, from pre-emergency through to recovery.
