IASC guidelines for inclusion of persons with disabilities in humanitarian action 2019
Developed by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC), these guidelines are the first humanitarian guidelines developed with and by persons with disabilities and their representative organisations alongside traditional humanitarian stakeholders. They set out essential actions humanitarian actors must take across all phases of response to identify and respond to the needs and rights of persons with disabilities, positioning them as actors in humanitarian action rather than only as recipients of assistance.
