Published in Frontiers in Climate, this article argues that EU-funded Horizon Europe research and innovation projects on nature-based solutions (NbS) should actively include women and indigenous peoples as stakeholders. It contends both groups are disproportionately affected by climate change and hold critical knowledge relevant to NbS, and that their inclusion is vital to the success and uptake of these solutions.
