Integrating gender equality and inclusion into social protection systems
This guidance note supports the design and delivery of gender-responsive and inclusive social protection systems. It sets out the key gender equality and social inclusion considerations and why they matter in policy, programmes and systems.
The note presents good practice for integrating social inclusion into social protection and explores how technical assistance can strengthen the gender and inclusion lens across a programme. It also points to further material on gender equality, social protection and inclusive policy design. It was produced through the Social Protection Technical Assistance, Advice and Resources Facility, a UK aid initiative delivered by DAI Global UK.
