This DFAT tool must be used to formally assess and score the quality of investment design documents and design summaries, underpinned by DFAT's Design and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Standards. It is a required attachment to DFAT's Investment Design Quality Assurance Guidance and supports delegates in verifying that minimum quality standards have been met before an investment is approved.
