OECD gender budgeting
This OECD web resource provides an overview of gender budgeting, a public financial management tool used to integrate gender considerations into government budget decisions and close gender gaps. It draws on OECD survey data showing gender budgeting practice has grown from 12 countries in 2016 to 23 in 2022, and sets out best-practice approaches for embedding gender budgeting tools throughout the budget cycle.
