Produced by UN Women to mark 30 years since the Beijing Platform for Action, this paper takes an intersectional approach to examining how the 12 critical areas of the Platform have progressed for women and girls with disabilities. It explores how gender inequality and disability exclusion compound one another, featuring case studies and the voices of diverse women leaders with disabilities from low- and middle-income countries.
