Produced by the DFAT-funded Water for Women Fund and led by WaterAid Australia, this synthesis report draws out lessons from civil society organisation partners working to improve water, sanitation and hygiene in healthcare facilities across Asia and the Pacific.

It is organised around three themes: the role of civil society organisations in supporting government action on global approaches to WASH in healthcare facilities; how the WASH FIT tool strengthens collaboration at subnational and facility level; and how progress is enhanced through coordination and learning. Its recommendations are intended to inform future project designs and sector advocacy towards universal coverage by 2030.
