This ADB multimedia resource examines how extreme heat disproportionately affects women across Asia and the Pacific, including impacts on health, safety and livelihoods in female-dominated sectors. It supports a three-year ADB technical assistance project working with developing member countries to design gender-responsive solutions to heat stress.
