Developed with Edge Effect for the DFAT-funded Water for Women Fund, this guidance note responds to the way COVID-19 amplified the discrimination and exclusion faced by sexual and gender minorities, including new barriers to accessing relief and following public health advice.

It helps WASH organisations assess how inclusive their programs are, understand the root causes of discrimination, violence and exclusion faced by sexual and gender minority communities, and take practical action across WASH in emergencies, hygiene communication, WASH in communities, and public health service delivery.
