Published to mark UN Women's tenth anniversary, this report brings together research and evidence on how laws around the world treat women and girls, highlighting trends since 2015. It shares UN Women's best practices and lessons learned from legal reform interventions, noting that an estimated 3.7 billion women and girls still live in countries with discriminatory laws or gaps in legal protection.
