Strengthening systems for more equitable, sustainable and climate-resilient WASH: lessons from Water for Women
This brief is the culmination of a two-year participatory learning process under the DFAT-funded Water for Women Fund's Learning Agenda, sharing what 20 civil society organisation projects across the Asia-Pacific region have learnt about strengthening systems for inclusive and sustainable WASH.
It synthesises and connects the insights of the Fund's three systems strengthening learning notes — on engaging with the people and actors within WASH systems, leveraging finance, and sector planning, monitoring and review — into a single narrative about WASH systems and the contributions civil society organisations make to strengthening them.
