Stronger systems for inclusive and sustainable WASH — research contributions to WASH systems strengthening

The fourth in Water for Women's systems strengthening learning note series, this note examines how research contributes to strengthening national and subnational WASH systems in Asian and Pacific communities.

It locates research within the WASH system, shows how leverage points can be used to identify systems strengthening strategies, and illustrates the argument with case studies on gender equality in WASH, community-based water management, and WASH access for women with disabilities.
