This report reviews evidence about the situation of people with disabilities around the world. While many countries have started taking action to improve the lives of people with disabilities much remains to be done. The evidence in this Report suggests that many of the barriers people with disabilities face are avoidable and that the disadvantages associated with disability can be overcome.
